On September 19th and 20th, Stara attended the 17th International Course of Precision Farming, held by INTA Manfredi, National Institute of Farming Technology, in the province of Cordoba in Argentina.
More than 1500 people attended the course, among them there were agriculture engineers, students, farmers and professors from Argentina and South American countries, who took part in lectures and machinery demonstrations with innovative technologies. Project Aquarius, the largest database about Precision Farming in Latin America and held in Brazil since 2000, was presented by professor Telmo Amado, from Federal University of Santa Maria, a partner institution of the Project, as well as Stara.
During the course, the exhibition of precise machinery was also held, highlighting Imperador 3.0 by Stara. Imperador 3.0 is the unique self-propelled machine with 3 functions on the same machine: spraying, spreading and pneumatic seeder. In addition, it features controller Topper 5500 and Telemetria Stara, which gives the farmer access to information about the work made and about the equipment in real time, through mobile devices with internet access.
