Stara has been participating at the 45th Expointer (it is a large agricultural show in Brazil). It started last Saturday 27th and ends on Sunday 4th. The fair is one of the main ones in the agriculture and cattle raising sector in Brazil. It is held at Assis Brasil Park, in the city of Esteio, state of the Rio Grande do Sul.

Among the highlighted Stara products in this Exporinter edition, there are the new Guapita seeder and the Zero Crop Damage

Guapita

The seeder provides excellent sowing uniformity for winter crops and is available in the 29 and 33 row units with 17 cm spacing. It features a central seed hopper with a capacity of 1,100 kg to ease the loading process. The fertilizer hopper features a capacity of 65 kg/row unit and a meter system with two sections.

The new Stara seeder is available in two versions. The only in the market controlled by a mobile device (cell phone) via Bluetooth that allows the instantaneous adjustment of the seed and fertilizer rates, unfold/fold control of sections, and seed monitor. The other version is controlled by Topper 5500, which instantaneously adjusts the seed and fertilizer rates, and variable rates of seeds and fertilizer, unfold/fold control of sections, seed monitor, Conecta, Syncro (optional feature), auto Steering, and Telemetria Stara.

Additionally, it is the only seeder on the market with a self- transport system. The transport width is only 3.2 m.

Zero Crop Damage

The Zero Crop Damage is an exclusive Stara technology. It performs sowing with automatic row-by-row shut-off where the sprayer and spreader will further pass over. It provides the farmer with up to 4% seed savings.

The Zero Crop Damage is available on all Stara planters with Row-by-Row Shut-Off System, and the entire operation process is through Topper 5500, without the need for maps.
