At the finish of ConBAP 2016 – Brazilian Congress of Precision Farming, the farmer Aldo Tasca, from Céu Azul, Paraná, presented its experiences using the technologies of precision farming in the panel Precision Farming User Experiences, where he represented the Project MAS – Advanced Management Stara, by  the side of Francisco Curcio, from the Group Bom Futuro, Felipe Araújo, from the Elletro, Eder Ribeiro and Erik Borges, representatives from Cooxupé. In the panel, the farmer presented data of performed in its land using technologies of precision farming, providing a change of information with the other participants about the reality of the proprieties, the used systems and the difficulties found, be it in a small, medium or big land.
“We are having good results using the technologies of precision farming. It is technologies that bring us many benefits through long term, with the reduction of operational costs, optimization in the application of fertilizers in the soil and of the planting, as the reduction of loss during the harvest”, said Aldo, farmer that participated of the Project Mas during 6 years.
The participation of farmers in the ConBAP was an unique opportunity, where the practice of precision farming in the daily life could be debated. “The opportunity of presenting our experiences in a congress like the ConBAP is very great, because the exchange of information is very important. The precision farming is a large area to study, with many open windows. Projects like MAS are fundamental on this way. I believe that, besides participating of it during 6 years, we still are in the beginning. We have to keep expanding the project, studying, testing and measuring the data, in other words, to contribute to the expansion of the precision farming”, said the farmer.
At the occasion, Aldo and his father, Laurindo, were honored by Stara, receiving a plate that symbolizes the 6 years of partnership between the farmers and the company in the search for develop the precision farming, contributing and encouraging the generation of knowledge on this area.
