The Constant Evolution is in Stara DNA, and this means that the company is always seeking continuous improvement of its products, processes and services. To make this possible, it has important partners, the suppliers. For this reason, it held a training course that gathered suppliers and employees of the company, from the headquarters and from the branches of Carazinho and Santa Rosa.

The training began on May 7th and was split into six sessions, in a total of 40 hours. On August 14th, the attendees presented the projects developed during the training, aiming at quality improvement and delivery of products supplied to Stara, topping off the training course.

Six Sigma is an internationally recognized tool and it is widely used to identify and implement internal processes in companies, which brings more efficiency, productivity and quality to the services provided. In the early stage of Green Belts, the attendees get to dominate the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) methodology, with capacity to lead complex and priority projects for the purposes of the companies.

Six Sigma – Green Belt training is part of the activities of Stara + program, which aims to improve productivity and quality at Stara.
