From October 18th to 20th, Stara took part in the 19th edition of the WinterShow through the WM dealer. It is held by the Agrarian Foundation of Agricultural Research MT Foundation (FAPA) with SEBRAE (Micro and Small Business Support Service) in the city of Guarapuava, in the state of Paraná. The agricultural show provides a range of agribusiness solutions by gathering innovation and technology to ensure excellent winter grain crops.
To Márcio Jung, Stara sales representative in that area, WinterShow is one of the biggest editions in 2022. It even overcame expectations. “It is a winter crop technical fair that in the past years has become a commercial fair. It causes a considerable proportion. It especially has this year.”
Márcio highlights the positive welcome from the audience in relation to the stand solutions. “The audience always welcomes Stara warmly. There was a high number of visitors and customers who seek winter crop sowing solutions, especially because we provide technologies and innovations with great sowing and plantability”, he points out.
Among Stara highlights is the Guapa line, the Imperador line, Bruttus spreaders, Zero Crop Damage and the winter seeder Guapita.
Guapita seeder is Stara’s novelty. It is a cut-of-the-edge technology piece of equipment for crop fields, exclusive for winter crops. It was officially introduced to the Guarapuava area in the state of Paraná by the WM dealer during the WinterShow.
Márcio points out that the seeder was already expected by customers. Therefore, it was warmly welcomed as the fair launching product. “Guapita was tested in Guarapuava. For this reason, a bunch of customers was waiting to see the equipment. The reception was good, mainly because it showed a different solution for sowing”, he highlights.
About Guapita
Guapita is available in 27 and 33 row unit models with 17cm spacing. It is the only seeder in the market with a fully automatic folding and unfolding system without the need to leave the tractor cab. It requires less than a minute to be ready for operations and to be transported. Also, it is the only seeder in the market with a transport system. The equipment width becomes 3.2 m for transport. The tires with high-pressure flotation reduce the soil compaction and provide more operation stability.
Additionally, it provides two control versions: Through a mobile device via Bluetooth that allows the operator to instantaneously adjust the seed and fertilizer rates, unfold/fold control of sections, and seed monitor. The other version is controlled by Topper 5500, which instantaneously adjusts the seed and fertilizer rates and variable rates of seeds and fertilizer, unfold/fold control of sections, seed monitor, Conecta, Syncro, auto steering, and Telemetria Stara.
