Stara confirms its attendance in another edition of Expodireto Cotrijal, to be held from March 9 to 13, in Não-Me-Toque, Rio Grande do Sul. Highlighted attractions in Stara stand include Spartakus, a concept machine that represents a true innovation milestone in agricultural sector.

Acknowledged as the world´s first boom spreader and sprayer, Spartakus gathers, in a single self-propelled, fertilizer spreading, spraying and boom seeding functions, a characteristic that a step ahead in agricultural mechanization.

Developed from Stara field well-known systems, the machine has been designed to offer high application precision, operational efficiency and reduction of costs, reflecting company commitment with development of solutions applied to farmer needs.

With pneumatic system and 30 m application range, Spartakus is equipped with 12 spreading sections placed along booms, with application rate control and individual section shut down, providing convenience, input saving and application uniformity even under event occurrence, and calibration and setting facilities.

Latest spreading and planting launching

Apart from Spartakus presence, Stara reinforces its attendance in Expodireto displaying in its stand another innovations presented in the market recently. They include Hércules 9.0 self-propelled sprayer, which main feature is major operational autonomy, enabled by its tank capacity, which is 9,000 kg or 9 m³ of fertilizers.

With metering high performance and precision, Hércules 9.0 relies on high power engine, robust design and the best cabin of the category, providing comfort, convenience and safety during operations. It is also equipped with LED lighting, assuring night operation spreading quality.

In planting segment, Princesa and Cinderela planter new generations stand out. Princesa has resources including factory-installed Stara Integrated Terrain Copy System, Seed Electrical Meter (DPS-E), fertilizer spreading and in-furrow spraying. Thus, it assures planting uniformity, robustness and excellence, and transport agility and easy maintenance.

On the other hand, Cinderela, traditional in the portfolio, has been enhanced to deliver more precision and singularity, with excellent terrain copy system and great straw flow. Highlights include Estrela planter, acknowledged as one of the market most complete ones, relying on features like factory-installed Stara Integrated Terrain Copy System, DPS-E and in-furrow spraying. Guapa Line seeders have great row articulation capacity and seeding quality, with excellent variation coefficient. Guapita, on the other hand, is the only one in the market with fully automatic opening and closing system.

Apart from recently launched Hércules 9.0, in Spreading line, Stara will present equipment developed to offer high operational capacity, application precision and better input usage. With solutions aimed at Precision Agriculture, the brand machines enable fixed or variable rate operation, assuring increase metering control and more efficiency in field operations.

Highlights include Hércules 10000 and Hércules 24000 Stainless Steel models, indicated to soil regulator, fertilizer and seed spreading, with excellent uniformity. With load reducer, specific disks to powder and granulated products, and double gate, they assure spreading efficiency and quality.

In Expodireto, the public will also know Bruttus 18000, spreader by gravity that combines large operational capacity, versatility and excellent application precision, minimizing wind action and enabling particles to be applied directly on soil. Twister 1500 completes the line, a hydraulic spreader designed to fertilizer and fine seed application, highlighted by spreading efficiency and variable rate operation possibility.

Imperador line self-propelled sprayers

In Sprayer line, Stara will also present machines that translate the brand technological essence, providing more efficient, precise applications, and with increase field control. With smart solutions and high operational performance, Imperador Line sprayers enable crop field protection and productivity increase, reducing costs and generation positive results. 

Displayed equipment in brand stand includes self-propelled Imperador 3000, Imperador 2500 and Imperador 2000 PV. The models share relevant technological features, including:

  • Central booms: Stara exclusive technology that offers more stability during applications, ensuring 58% more of the chemical solution on target.
  • Smart Four-Wheel-Steering System: allowing 42% shorter turning radius than conventional systems, providing faster steering procedures and up to 45% less crop damage on boundary applications and steering procedures in the crop field;
  • Nozzle-by-Nozzle Control System: it shuts off the spray nozzle automatically, when Topper controller identifies an area where the chemical has already been applied, preventing overlap and reducing waste;
  • Continuous Recirculating System: exclusive system that keeps the chemical solution in constant circulation in tank and piping, providing homogeneity and exact concentration of the chemical during the application, cleaner spraying system, without residues from previous applications, and longer durability of the components;
  • Weight Spreading: as the booms are located in machine centre, the weight is distributed 50% on the front and 50% on the back to increase the traction capacity.

For the farmers that adopt cover crop, Imperador 2000 PV also relies on exclusive Ponte Verde System, which provides seeding within all boom length, with high efficiency and precision. This process follows the same spraying path, which reduces operating time, fuel consumption, and crop damages.

  • PLANTING: Connectivity, Paid Signal, Stara Machine Monitoring System, Syncro Net, Telemetria Stara, Conecta and Zero Crop Damage. Available to Absoluta, Princesa and Estrela, only to machines with Topper 6500.
