Stara is positioned to be the first agricultural machinery manufacturer in South America to bring satellite connectivity to Brazilian farmers. Starlink will boost the brand’s product capabilities, providing high-speed internet even in the most remote areas of Brazil.

A pioneer in Precision Agriculture in Brazil, Stara is a global reference when it comes to farming technology. With a history marked by innovation, the company has always been ahead of its time, recognized for its DNA of evolution and leadership in developing intelligent solutions for agribusiness.

Highlighting its visionary essence, focused on technological expansion to boost crop productivity, Stara will bring Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency internet to its fleet of agriculture machinery. This commitment coincides with Stara’s 65th anniversary celebrations, symbolizing a milestone in its history and a decisive step towards the future.

Stara and Starlink are working together to provide farmers with stable, reliable, and high-speed connectivity, even in remote areas, enabling the full use of the technologies embedded in Stara machines, optimizing specialized services, and enhancing farm management through real-time monitoring.

More than maximizing current technological potential, Starlink’s reliable connectivity can optimize enhance access to data and productivity on Stara’s machines. Stara’s CEO, Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, highlights the importance of this initiative. “This innovation represents a decisive step forward in our history. To grasp its relevance, we can compare it to the emergence of the urban internet around 25 years ago, an event that accelerated technological evolution and brought unimaginable benefits at the time,” he emphasizes.

According to him, Starlink will initially bring a series of advantages by optimizing access to and use of the information already generated by the machines, enhancing services such as Conecta, Telemetria (telemetry), Syncro, and Monitoramento de Máquinas (Machine Monitoring System). “Later, it will gradually enable the transformation of the machines, driving new ideas, tools, and benefits. Just as the evolution with urban internet was transformative, the gains that internet connectivity in our machines will bring to farmers are immeasurable.”

Starting in the first half of 2026, Stara’s self-propelled machines will have the option to be factory-equipped with Starlink kits. In other words, they will benefit from high-speed internet connection, powered by Starlink’s advanced satellite constellation in low Earth orbit.

This innovation reinforces Stara’s commitment to the evolution of the agricultural sector in Brazil, reaffirming its confidence in the strength of agribusiness. It also confirms the brand’s vocation to offer farmers safe, customized, and efficient technological solutions that meet the needs of the production process and deliver positive results in the fields.
